Jigjga, (Dawan Africa) – Jigjga officially opened new housing units for doctors and teachers working at the Sheikh Hassan Yabare Specialized Hospital on Saturday, marking a significant step towards improving healthcare services in the region.
The 100 housing units, completed with all essential services, were handed over during a ceremony attended by various regional and federal officials, including President of Jigjga University, Bashir Abdullahi, and Health Bureau Minister Muse Ahmed. The new homes will provide doctors with safe, convenient accommodation close to their workplace, enabling them to focus more on improving healthcare delivery.
Officials highlighted that the project is aimed at addressing housing challenges for healthcare professionals and enhancing the quality of services provided to the community. Doctors expressed their gratitude and pledged to continue delivering high-quality healthcare.
