Somalia, 18 April 2026 — The Himilo Qaran political party has warned of a potential political crisis in Somalia, urging all stakeholders to uphold the constitution and protect the country’s unity.
In a statement, party officials stressed the importance of cooperation and national cohesion, cautioning against any actions that could lead to division or instability.
Himilo Qaran said the current political situation requires a collective solution based on law and consensus, to prevent further escalation of tensions.
The party emphasized the need to respect the constitutional framework while strengthening state institutions and maintaining public trust in governance.

Himilo Qaran also called on all political actors to act responsibly and prioritize the country’s peace, stability, and future.
