Those arrested said the attack was linked to a relationship between the victim and a woman related to one of the alleged attackers, according to ADI, citing investigators. The suspects said the woman’s brother opposed the relationship and had called his friends to frighten and beat him.
Investigators from Hodan police station arrested the five suspects. They were brought before the deputy prosecutor, who ordered their detention at Gabode Civil Prison as investigation and legal proceedings continue.
