15 May 2026 - Fafi Member of Parliament Salah Yakub on Thursday launched a multi-office building that will house the Deputy County Commissioner and several other government departments, creating a one-stop centre aimed at improving access to public services for residents in the constituency.
While launching the project in Bura, the constituency headquarters, the MP said the facility marks a significant step towards enhancing efficiency, accessibility, and coordination of constituency development programmes.
The one-storey building, funded by the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF), contains 12 offices, a Huduma Centre, an ICT hub, and a multipurpose hall.
According to officials, the construction and equipping of the offices is worth KSh 58 million.
The MP conducted an inspection and handed over the newly completed offices to the Bura East Deputy County Commissioner (DCC).
He added that the facility will play a key role in strengthening administration and service delivery within the sub-county.
The Fafi lawmaker also inaugurated the ACC Nanighi Division, a facility he said will help strengthen administrative services and bring government closer to the people.
