JIGJIGA (Dawan Africa) – Shabelle Bank’s total assets have reached nearly $61 million (9.73 billion birr), up 62 percent from last year, the bank announced at a leadership summit in Jigjiga, SRTV Somali reported.
The event was attended by the Deputy President of the Somali Regional State, who also serves as the Chair of Shabelle Bank’s Board, Ibrahim Osman Farah, along with board members, senior management, branch heads, and other officials.
The report highlighted the bank’s significant growth across assets, revenue, and financial services. It emphasized the expansion of services, the increase in customer base, and the development of modern financial products.
