Addis Ababa, 7 September 2026 Ethiopia is showcasing investment opportunities and its economic reform agenda at a global gathering of more than 180 countries, with President Taye Atske-Selassie attending the 15th Annual Investment Meeting Congress in Dubai.
Taye arrived in Dubai on Sunday at the head of a high-level delegation, the Ethiopian News Agency reported.
The congress, being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from Sept. 7 to 9, is focusing on the digital economy, sustainable development, innovation and strategic investment partnerships.
Ethiopia’s participation comes as the government accelerates reforms aimed at expanding the private sector, attracting foreign capital and strengthening integration into global markets.
The Homegrown Economic Reform Agenda is a key pillar of efforts to create a more competitive investment environment, promote sustainable growth and expand partnerships with governments and international financial institutions.
