Eritrean and Sudanese Leaders Discuss Bilateral and Regional Issues in Beijing

Beijing(Mogadishu24)-Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki met with Sudan's Sovereign Council President, General Abdel-Fattah al-Burhan, in Beijing for extensive discussions on the situation in Sudan, bilateral relations, and regional and international matters.

The meeting, attended by senior officials from both countries, focused on mutual interests and cooperation.

Sudanese Foreign Minister Hussein Awad and Finance Minister Dr. Jibril Ibrahim were present, while Eritrea was represented by Foreign Minister Osman Saleh. General Burhan expressed gratitude for Eritrea's consistent support for Sudan, as stated by Eritrean Minister of Information Yemane G. Meskel on Saturday.
