Eritrea Rejects Allegations of Atrocities in Ethiopia, Cites Malicious Intentions

Asmara, Eritrea(Mogadishu24)-Eritrean Minister of Information, Yemane G. Meskel, dismissed recent allegations made by U.S. Senator Chris Coons and others, accusing Eritrea of "gross atrocities" in the conflict in northern Ethiopia.

Meskel labeled the accusations as preposterous and rooted in malicious policies intended to foment division and worsen the war.

In his statement on Wednesday, Meskel asserted that Eritrea would not engage in what he termed as "mendacious acrimonies," criticizing the underlying agendas of such claims as morally bankrupt.
