Djibouti (Dawan Africa) Djibouti’s national police have arrested a suspected gang leader accused of kidnapping and other serious crimes, authorities said.
The suspect, whose identity was not disclosed, was detained last week in an operation targeting organised crime, security sources said. Police from the 1st District station tracked and intercepted him after he had been on the run.
Investigators said the man is linked to a wider probe involving kidnapping, unlawful detention, torture and drug trafficking.
