DJIBOUTI, 23 July 2026 – Djibouti’s Military Police said on Wednesday it dismantled a criminal network specializing in online visa fraud. The bust, by the Research and Documentation Section, was part of a nationwide campaign against internet scams, the Djibouti news agency reported.
Investigators said the network targeted individuals planning to travel abroad, promising rapid visa issuance in exchange for money. The documents provided were fake, and the operation’s sole purpose was to defraud victims.
