Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-On Monday, the Benadir regional court sentenced a man and three women for financing and collecting funds through bank accounts for the terrorist group Al-Shabaab. Chairperson of the Court, Salah Ali Mohamud, announced the verdict.
Hassan Osman Aden was sentenced to 13 years in prison and fined $20,000, while the three women—Fadumo Hassan, Amina Abdullahi Abbanur, and Hanna Aweys Khasim—were each sentenced to two years in prison.
The court had earlier described the accused as a family closely collaborating with Al-Shabaab.
