Addis Ababa (Dawan) Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on Wednesday inaugurated the Entoto–Qejeene Riverside Development Project in Addis Ababa, SRTV reported.
Abiy posted on his social media that the project aims to revitalize previously neglected areas using modern techniques that protect soil and restore the river’s natural flow. The initiative will also connect productive gardens and dedicated pedestrian and cycling pathways, significantly improving the city’s urban landscape and residents’ quality of life.

The development covers a total of 22.25 kilometers and is designed as a model for national growth, environmental protection, and urban renewal.
