Djibouti, 27 August 2026 - Twenty-three students from Djibouti's School of Excellence have been admitted to France's highly selective higher education institutions after two years of preparatory studies, state media ADI reported on Wednesday.
The students from science and humanities programs are expected to travel to France in the coming days.
They will study in Brest, Nice, Clermont-Ferrand, Saint-Quentin, Saint-Omer, Douai and Strasbourg, according to ADI.

Their admission follows two years of intensive preparation at the School of Excellence, whose preparatory classes receive support from France.
The program is supported by Djibouti's Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training, the French Institute of Djibouti and Campus France Djibouti, ADI said.
School officials praised the students' commitment and perseverance and the support provided by their families and teachers.
